Disgen 8.2

Disgen is a Windows-based genealogy program developed by Föreningen för Datorhjälp i Släktforskningen (DIS), the Swedish Society for Computer Genealogy. It helps family historians document, analyze, and share their family trees with tools designed for accuracy, clarity, and ease of use.

Key capabilities:

• Build and manage detailed person and family records, including events, relationships, and notes
• Attach photos and other media to individuals and sources
• Create a wide range of charts and reports, such as ancestor and descendant trees, pedigree views, and narrative summaries
• Manage places with coordinates and maps to visualize geographic movement and family distribution

Developed and maintained by DIS, Disgen is widely used in Sweden and is well suited to both Scandinavian and international research.

Disgen is developed by Föreningen för Datorhjälp i Släktforskningen and is used by 7 users of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 8.0, 8.1, 8.1 beta and 8.2. The names of program executable files are DgDemo.exe, DgStart.exe and Disgen.exe.
